Terms and Conditions

• A$25 non-refundable registration fee, along with the submission of this registration form with the Terms & Conditions and the Release and Waiver, is required. Registration fees are valid until the next registration date of the following year. 
• The tuition fee is $70 per month, which includes weekly classes of 45 minutes each. Typically, there will be 4 classes in a month, excluding long weekends. Tuition is due within the first week of every month. For months that have five weeks, we will try to arrange make-up classes to cover the long weekends, but this cannot be guaranteed.
• A make-up session will only be provided if a class is canceled by the teacher. Tuition fees will not be adjusted for missed classes.
• Regular attendance is essential for continuous improvement, as each class builds on the previous one. Charging tuition fees for missed classes reinforces responsibility and ensures full commitment from students and parents.
• Tuition/program fees may differ when a student begins learning advanced choreographies, such as Items or Arangetram preparation. Additional charges may apply depending on the copyrighted audio files and choreographies.
• Tuition payments can be made by: Personal check payable to Mudra Dance School or Zelle transfer to [email protected]
• Competition and recital costume deposits are non-refundable. Once a costume has been ordered, parents are responsible for the final balance, even if the student withdraws from the class.
• The Annual Recital, Kalotsav, will be held at the end of the academic year, and attendance is mandatory for all students. A recital fee will also be charged to cover theater, costume, and production expenses. 
• Parents and siblings are not permitted inside the classroom during sessions, as this can distract the students.
• Comfortable churidar/pajamas (not too tight or too loose)
• No shoes or socks – practice will be done barefoot.
• Hair must be pulled back and secured away from the face
  
• Dupatta/scarf tied around the waist.Notebook and pen must be brought to every class.
• All recital dances at Mudra Dance are protected by copyright. Students may not perform or distribute them outside the school without the dance teacher’s approval, while traditional classical dance repertoire may be practiced with proper attribution.
• Fees for private or one-on-one classes may vary depending on the type of dance and the student’s level of expertise.
• No gum, food, or drinks are allowed inside the studio. Students may bring a water bottle.
• Classes for the new batch will begin in October 2025.

Release and Waiver

• Dancing and acrobatics are strenuous activities that may result in serious injuries. Mudra Dance School LLC, its instructors, and employees are not liable for personal injuries or for the loss or damage of personal property. Please inform Mudra Dance School and its instructors in writing of any physical limitations you or your child may have. If you are in doubt regarding your or your child’s physical abilities, please consult your physician before participating.
• I, the undersigned, represent that I and/or my child are physically able to participate in all activities of the program.
• On behalf of myself, my child (if applicable), my spouse, heirs, legal representatives, and assigns, I expressly release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Mudra Dance School LLC, its teachers, staff, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, predecessors, sponsors, legal representatives, and assigns from all present and future claims, demands, losses, actions, judgments, suits, executions, and liabilities of any kind—known or unknown—that may arise from or relate to any dance instruction, workshop, rehearsal, performance, or program activity, regardless of location or timing. This release applies even if such claims arise from negligence, breach of contract, or any other fault, and whether for bodily injury, property damage, or loss of any kind.
• This release covers all premises of Mudra Dance School LLC, including but not limited to common areas, restrooms, changing rooms, studios, offices, sidewalks, parking areas, grounds, and any location where program activities may take place. Participants should not be dropped off early or picked up late. Mudra Dance School, its instructors, and staff are not responsible for children left unattended before or after class times, or for participants who are not enrolled in the program.
• In the event of an accident or illness, I authorize any teacher or staff member of Mudra Dance School to take necessary steps for emergency medical treatment. I authorize hospitals and medical staff to treat me or my child in my absence and understand that I am solely responsible for all costs incurred for medical treatment.
• I also grant Mudra Dance School permission to use photographs or images of me or my child for publicity and promotional purposes.
• I hereby represent that I am the participant or parent/legal guardian of the participant and that I have read and fully agree to abide by all the terms, policies, and conditions of Mudra Dance School LLC.
