Terms and Conditions
Registration Fee A $25 non-refundable registration fee is required along with the completed registration form, Terms & Conditions, and Release & Waiver. Registration is valid until the next registration period of the following year. Tuition Fees Monthly tuition is $70, which includes weekly 45-minute classes. Typically, there will be four classes per month, excluding long weekends and scheduled breaks. Tuition is due within the first week of each month. For months with five weeks, we may arrange make-up classes to compensate for long weekends; however, make-up classes are not guaranteed. Missed Classes & Make-Up Classes A make-up class will be provided only when a class is canceled by the teacher. Tuition will not be prorated or adjusted for classes missed by a student. Regular attendance is essential because each class builds upon previously learned material. Consistent attendance also reinforces responsibility and commitment from both students and parents. Advanced Choreography & Additional Fees Tuition/program fees may change when a student begins advanced choreography, including Items, Arangetram preparation, or other specialized training. Additional charges may apply for copyrighted audio files, choreography, or other related materials. Payment Methods Tuition may be paid by: Personal check payable to Mudra Dance School or Zelle:[email protected] Costume Deposits & Payments Competition and recital costume deposits are non-refundable. Once a costume has been ordered, parents are responsible for paying the remaining balance, even if the student subsequently withdraws from the class. Annual Recital โ Kalotsav Mudra Dance School's annual recital, Kalotsav, will be held at the end of the academic year. Participation and attendance are mandatory for all students. A separate recital fee will be charged to cover theater, costumes, production, and related expenses. Classroom Policy Class Attire & Requirements Students are expected to: Wear comfortable churidar/pajamas that are neither too tight nor too loose.Practice barefoot; shoes and socks are not permitted. Keep hair pulled back and securely away from the face. Tie the dupatta/scarf securely around the waist. Bring a notebook and pen to every class.No gum or food is permitted inside the studio.Students may bring a water bottle.Parents and siblings are not permitted inside the classroom during regular sessions, as their presence may distract students and affect the learning environment. Copyright & Choreography All recital choreographies created for Mudra Dance School are protected by copyright. Students may not perform, reproduce, record, or distribute these choreographies outside the school without prior approval from the dance teacher. Traditional classical dance repertoire may be practiced or performed with appropriate attribution. Students and parents must obtain prior approval from the dance teacher before posting, sharing, or distributing any video or recording of Mudra Dance School performances or recital choreographies on social media or other public platforms. This is to protect the school's copyrighted choreography and creative work Private Lessons Fees for private or one-on-one classes may vary depending on the dance form, duration, and student's level of expertise. New Batch Classes for the new batch will begin in October 2026.
Release โof Liability and Waiver
Participation in dance, acrobatics, and related activities involves physical exertion and carries a risk of injury. Participants and parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that they or their child are physically able to participate. Any medical conditions or physical limitations must be disclosed to Mudra Dance School LLC in writing before participation. By enrolling in or participating in any program offered by Mudra Dance School LLC, I acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation. On behalf of myself, my child (if applicable), and our heirs, representatives, and assigns, I release and hold harmless Mudra Dance School LLC, its owners, instructors, staff, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation in classes, rehearsals, performances, workshops, events, or related activities, including claims resulting from ordinary negligence. I understand that Mudra Dance School LLC is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property, nor for participants who arrive before or remain after scheduled program times. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize Mudra Dance School LLC staff to obtain emergency medical care for me or my child if necessary. I understand that all medical expenses are my sole responsibility. I grant permission to Mudra Dance School LLC to use photographs, videos, or other images of me or my child for educational, promotional, and publicity purposes without compensation. By signing below, I certify that I am the participant or the parent/legal guardian of the participant, have read and understood this waiver, and agree to be bound by its terms.
Clear
