Terms and Conditions

• $25.00 non-refundable registration fee, and signed release and waiver must accompany registration form. Registration fees are good until the next registration date of the following year.
• 
  
• The dance tuition fee is $70 per month, and each class will be 45 minutes. Tuition must be paid by the first week of every month. A make-up session will be provided only if a class is canceled by the teacher.
• 
  
• Regular attendance is vital for continuous improvement in dance skills, as each class builds on the previous one. Charging tuition fees for missed classes reinforces responsibility and ensures full commitment from students/parents.
• 
  
• Tuition/Program fee will be different when the student starts to learn advanced dance choreographies like Items or preparing for Arangetram. Depending on the Item’s copyrighted audio files and choreographies, the fees will be calculated.
• 
  
• Tuition Fee can be paid via personal check to “Mudra Dance School” or via Zelle to [email protected]
• Competition/Recital costume deposits are non-refundable. If your child’s recital/competition costume has been ordered you are responsible for the final balance of the costume even in the event that your child is no longer enrolled in the class.
• 
  
• Our Annual Recital, Kalotsav, will be held at the end of the academic year, and attendance is mandatory.
• 
  
• We request parents/siblings not to be inside the dance class while the class is in progress as they are too much of a distraction to the students.
• 
  
• Dance attire and Hair along with items to bring for practice:
• Casual dresses like churidar/pajamas that is not too tight or loose
• No shoes or socks. Practice done on bare foot
• Hair must be pulled back and secure off face
• Must have a dupatta scarf that usually tie against the waist
• Must have a notebook and a pen
• 
  
• The fee for private or one-on-one classes may vary depending on the type of dance and the student's level of expertise.
• 
  
• No gum, food, or drinks allowed in the studio where students are dancing. Students may take a water bottle into class.
• 
  
• Classes will be held from October 2025.

Release and Waiver

Dancing and acrobatics are strenuous activities from which serious injuries could arise. Mudra Dance School LLC, the instructors and employees are not liable for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage of personal property. Please inform Mudra Dance School and instructors in writing of any physical limitations your child may have. If you are in doubt as to your child’s physical abilities, please consult your physician before allowing your child to participate.

I, the undersigned, for my child, for myself, my spouse, heirs, legal representatives and assigns, expressly release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Mudra Dance School LLC, its teachers, staff, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, predecessors, sponsors, legal representatives and assigns from all present and future claims, demands, losses, actions, judgments, suits, executions and liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, that now have, ever had or may have, or claim to have against Mudra Dance School LLC its teachers, staff, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, predecessors, sponsors, legal representatives and assigns, created by, as arising out of, any dance instruction, workshop, rehearsal, performance, or any activity of the program, regardless of where held or when held, even though such claim or liability may arise out of negligence or fault on the part of any of the foregoing persons or entities, breach of contract or otherwise, and whether for bodily injury, property damages or loss or otherwise. This release is for the entire premises of Mudra Dance School LLC, including but not limited to commons areas, restrooms, changing rooms, studios, offices, sidewalks, parking areas and grounds as well as any location the program may be held. Students should not be dropped off early or picked up late. Mudra Dance School, instructors, and staff are not held liable for children left unattended before and after class times. Mudra Dance School, instructors, and staff are not held liable for children who are not enrolled in the program.

In the event of an accident or illness, I hereby authorize any teacher or staff member of Mudra Dance School to take the necessary steps involving emergency medical treatment. I authorize the hospital and staff to treat my child for any illness or injury in my absence. I understand that I am solely responsible for costs incurred for any and all medical treatment. 

I also give Mudra Dance School permission to use photographs/images of me/my child for publicity purposes.

I hereby represent that I am the parent or guardian of the student and that I have read and agree to abide by all the terms and conditions of Mudra Dance School LLC.
